About us
StoicHUB is a manufacturer-independent engineering office specialising in CLT. It is run by two founding partners who still personally support every project – from the first conversation to assembly.
Why StoicHUB?
Stoic
Stoic philosophy took its name from a building: the colonnade in Athens where its teachers gathered. We still follow four of their ideas in our design work:
We focus on what we can influence.
Every question that can be decided is decided at the design desk. Construction runs calmly and costs stay predictable.
We think the options through in advance.
We check every connection and every assembly step before production starts. The design fits precisely from the very first element.
We practise moderation.
We design as much material as is needed, and make the most of it.

We are free to choose between manufacturers, so we recommend what is best for your building. The decision is always yours.
HUB
A hub is the centre of a wheel: the point that holds the spokes together. Behind a good building is the work of many disciplines: structural design, production, building services, assembly. We bring this engineering work together behind the design, so that the architect’s vision is built the way it was imagined.
