2. Cookies and web analytics
This website does not use cookies and does not store anything in your browser. We do not load any external content either (such as maps, external fonts or social media feeds): every file comes from our own hosting.
We measure visits with Plausible, a cookie-free service, to see which pages are useful. Plausible does not store IP addresses, does not track you across websites and does not create persistent identifiers; it counts visits in aggregate, in a way that cannot be linked to a person. The data stays in the European Union. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Provider: Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia.
3. When you visit the website
Like every web server, the hosting provider’s server keeps a technical log of requests: IP address, time, the requested page and the browser type. We process this for secure operation and to detect errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Processor: Silicium Network Kft., 1065 Budapest, Révay köz 4, Hungary.
4. When you write to us or call us
If you contact us, we use your name, contact details and the information you send (for example drawings or project data) to reply and, if you wish, to make an offer. Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We keep the data for as long as it is needed for communication or a possible contract, or for as long as it may be needed to establish or defend legal claims.
We use Microsoft 365 for e-mail; Microsoft processes the data as a processor, with contractual safeguards.
5. Invoicing for contracted partners
For invoicing our contracted partners we use the Számlázz.hu service (KBOSS.hu Kft., 1031 Budapest, Záhony utca 7/C, Hungary). Under Hungarian accounting law, we keep the data on invoices for at least 8 years (Section 169(2) of Act C of 2000). Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
6. Our social media pages
We are present on LinkedIn and Facebook (later also on YouTube). The website only links to these pages and uses no tracking code. If you contact us on our social media pages, the respective provider – LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company or Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. – also processes your data under its own privacy rules; for the statistics of our Facebook page we are joint controllers with Meta.
7. Data security
Only those who need the data for their work have access to it. The website is only available over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and our e-mail and hosting providers ensure appropriate technical and organisational protection. In the event of a personal data breach, we act in accordance with Articles 33–34 GDPR.
8. Your rights
- you can access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- you can ask for it to be corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17)
- you can ask for processing to be restricted (Art. 18)
- you can ask for your data to be transferred (Art. 20)
- you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
You can send your request to info [kukac] stoichub.eu; we will reply within one month at the latest.
You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu, naih.hu) or with the data protection authority of your country of residence, and you can also go to court.
